fermSENSE - SNAP VOC Sensor

fermSYS fermSENSE - SNAP VOC Sensor

Available to order

fermSENSE – SNAP, FLOW or MULTI FLOW VOC sensors are designed for bio processes in laboratories. The sensors can be used for shaking flasks, in shaking flasks incubators or in laborators fermenters.

Key Benefits of fermSYS VOC Sensor Technology

  • Easy to use VOC sensor technology – Enables online gas analysis of fermentation processes using highly flexible off-gas sensors through the recording of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), without complicated and time-consuming calibration.
  • Real-time process monitoring – Gives the opportunity to know what is really happening in the fermenter without spending a lot of time in front of the fermenter. It also generates a basis for decision-making for process control.
  • Process robustness – Achieved through early detection of process deviations thanks to real-time data processing.
  • Highly flexible and maintenance-free – Through exchangeable measuring cartridges in a compact housing.
  • Flexible integration into laboratories – The fermSYS VOC sensors can be flexibly integrated into shaking flasks and laboratory fermenters. The measurement data is transmitted to fermHUB SCADA via cable or a local ad hoc Wi-Fi network, where it is immediately available for use in existing control strategies.
  • Use of existing infrastructurefermHUB SCADA integrates into existing laboratory and automation environments without the need for additional local software. In addition to the fermSYS VOC sensors, other sensors and actuators can also be integrated, for example for substrate addition, shaking or stirring speed, and aeration systems. Access is via a web browser on the (ad hoc) Wi-Fi network. Optionally, the data can be transferred to fermHUB PRO for central evaluation (internet connection required).
